I just can’t fucking get TCoC:TLOL right!! Mahesh finally read it (he’d promised to for ages, hee hee) and he had a couple of questions about issues I was sure I’d long since taken care of. But no. Please understand, I’m not annoyed with Mahesh. He was doing his job as a friend and fellow writer. Pointing the shit out that doesn’t work.

In 1 case, I thought what was going on was obvious and I don’t konw what to do about it. For those who don’t know, you have to
understand, I’ve been working on this thing, on and off, but now mostly on, for about 14 years. And each pass I take, I think it does get a bit better, but fuck! It STILL has issues?
Leave it to me to have my first script be my hardest. I wrote and rewrote TW in a matter of a couple of months. Now, perhaps it’s not flawless by this point, but ti’s pretty fucking awesome, despite what one party has said.
Maybe it’s because in TCoC:TLOL I’ve created my own world. I dunno. I think Lucas spent a max of a year and a half on SW. That’s it! 14 years for me?? Arrrrrggg!
Sigh. I’m gonna finish up my first pass on BtP, then do a quickie on BA, then I’m gonna give it 1 more go on TCoC:TLOL.
Whoa, nelly! All I felt you needed was like one or two more lines on page 12, maybe one line with Kuhel, and possibly one line about how the Palace was THE PALACE (that last bit might have been my own fuzzy head). We’re talking super super minor adjustments man, nothing more. The script works on many levels, in my opinion, and it’s great as it is.
